About Our Family Law Firm

At Newsome O’Donnell, LLC we take a three-step approach to resolving your case. Our attorneys listen. They think seriously about how best to handle your case. Working along with you, we work to find a solution to your problems.

Putting Our Experience And Knowledge To Work For You

The firm’s main focus is your needs and concerns for the future. Our attorneys ask, “How may we help you?” To our team, the most important thing we can do for you is to listen. Your input is our team’s most valuable asset.

Here at Newsome O’Donnell, LLC, each case and each client is unique. Our attorneys, with your input, craft a solution unique to you, which is implemented in an effort to reach your goals. We take pride in finding the right solution for your particular situation. When it comes to you and your family, we expressly reject the notion that “one size fits all.”

Certified Matrimonial Attorneys Providing Mediation And Arbitration Services

The managing partners, Lynn Newsome and Ed O’Donnell, are both certified matrimonial attorneys and court-approved mediators. Ed is certified as a family law arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an approved American Bar Association organization. This gives Lynn and Ed additional insight as they negotiate on your behalf with your spouse, and his or her lawyer.

If you and your spouse choose to go through mediation, they can attend the session with you and be your guide through the process. They are also available to act as neutral mediators for mediation sessions.

Lynn and Ed are both leaders in the legal community. Lynn is a past president of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as past president of the Morris County Bar Association. Ed is a past president of the Essex County Bar Association. Both Lynn and Ed are past chairs of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. They have both been rated AV Preeminent* by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive from his or her peers. Let our experience work for you.
